FAQs

Can I pre-order online to pick up in-store?

At this stage, we are not able to take pre-orders over the phone or via the Baketico online form. We would much prefer to see your face (now we don’t have to wear masks inside) and get you some goodies in-store.

However, our very charming sister company Wonder Pies is set up for online ordering, and the best bit is that you can select to pick up from any of our Baketico stores. Wonder Pies do their best to fulfil orders in 2 days depending on product availability, ie. order on a Tuesday and pick up by Thursday, usually. Either way, you’ll get a notification when it’s ready to pick up!

Or if you want, we have partnered with Uber Eats if you’d like them to deliver some delicious goodies straight to your door.

I’m allergic to certain foods, how can I check for your known allergens?

Aside from delicious high-quality food that you keep coming back for, our main priority is food safety and ensuring everyone knows what they’re eating. We’ve put together an Ingredients, Allergens & Dietaries List so you can see what goes in before you put it in! Here is the link to it.

How long do I heat my pies for if I bought them cold in-store?

Crank up your oven to 180ºC fan-forced then pop your pie or pies upside down on an oven tray for 10 minutes. Then turn them over and cook them for a further 10 minutes or until piping hot in the middle!

Are the Wonder Pies halal?

Our Chicken Pies, Chicken Rolls, classic sausage roll, Harissa Roll, Caccio & Peppe Roll, and Lamb Roll are proudly halal.

Can I book a table outside any of your stores?

We’re not able to reserve any tables unfortunately. Given we’re a bakery, most of our customers tend not to spend too long at our tables. You’ll just have to get to our stores early or read that crystal ball to work out when your favourite spot in the sun is going to be free!

What do the different symbols mean on the pies?

Wonder Pies have tried to be a little bit clever and have devised a cunning symbol system for us to all know what pie is what, but unless you were given a Pie ID card in-store, you’re probably left wondering how the spade differs to the square. But we’ve got you covered. Here is a link to our Pie ID card.
